The Kilim pillow collection is created from upcycled hand-loomed vintage Kilim rugs from Morocco. Each Kilim rug is meticulously selected to produce a limited yielding of pillows, and each pillow within that batch displays a true one-of-a-kind design layout like no other.

Kilim rugs display traditional elaborate tribal patterns, abstract designs, and vintage textiles. The use of color and symbolism in their otherwise minimalist design was a means of storytelling for the weaver that usually took months to complete.

Made from cactus silk harvested from the Saharan aloe vera cacti found in northern Morocco, which is sustainable vegetal silk known for its luscious softness and impressive strength. In tradition to keep the fabric as natural as possible, the process of hand-dyeing in small batches with natural vegetable dyes is carried out, creating incredibly beautiful and vibrant colors.

Pillow dimensions are 25" x 25" or 27" x 27", as specified by color combination.
